VerityLaw Task Manuals

This page helps you jump straight to a practical VerityLaw task guide instead of reading a broader module page first.

Product: VerityLaw
Module: Task Manuals
Role: Internal users, legal operators, privacy operators, administrators
Difficulty: Beginner
Time: 3 minutes
Last Updated: 2026-03-10

Before You Start

  • Sign in to the dashboard before following any task page.
  • Choose the task that matches the route you actually have access to.
  • Use the task pages as current-state guides, not as promises of unfinished functionality.

What is this page?

This is the front door to the task-manual set. Each linked page explains one real workflow using the labels, fields, buttons, and review screens that are visible in the current code.

When do you use this?

Use this page when you know the job you need to do, but you want a direct SOP instead of a high-level module explanation. It is especially useful for onboarding and for support staff who need to verify what a user can actually click.

Where do you find the task guides?

Start with the task that matches your job:

  1. Creating a Client
  2. Opening a Case
  3. Creating a Contract
  4. Recording Consent
  5. Logging a DSAR
  6. Reporting a Data Breach
  7. Creating a Privacy Notice
  8. Managing a Policy Record
  9. Logging Time and Reviewing Billing
  10. Creating a User

How to choose the right task page

  1. Use the route or page title you can already see on screen.
  2. Pick the task page with the same workflow outcome.
  3. Read the "Where do you find it?" section before clicking.
  4. Read any current-state note carefully if the workflow is review-oriented or only partly implemented.

What if the task is broader than the visible UI?

"The page exists, but the full business process is not there"

Why this happens: Some dashboard routes are complete create flows, while others currently expose only review screens or partial UI.

Fix: Follow the task page literally. If the page says the route is review-oriented or partial, do not document or promise extra steps that are not visible.

"I cannot tell which module owns the task"

Why this happens: VerityLaw mixes legal operations, privacy work, contracts, billing, and user administration in one dashboard.

Fix: Start with the related top-level module page below, then come back to the task page.
